About me
Youssra Biare is a youth program expert, and program development, She is a Moroccan
Woman, an advocate for women and girls, she is a Social and political development, and a
peace building professional with a solid experience working with several international
organizations. In addition to providing research support and evaluations to several
development missions as a consultant and evaluator recently for an international
organization called Hedayah working closely on countering violent extremism in Morocco,
developing and delivering trainings on the the reintegration and social inclusion of returnees
and their families. She conducted research and political assessment missions and
contributed to the inception and implementation of development projects in Morocco with ‘'
USAID, NORC, International Democracy, Creative Associates, Prospective Cooperation...’’
Ms. Biare is UN certified Mediator and peace builder, and graduate of the Women
peacemaker program at Kroc university of Sandiego; with more than 6 years of experience
in the field of human development, in civil society work, women related programs and conflict
resolution programs. Through her work Ms Biare has seen firsthand that empowering
women and girls can bring about transformational improvements in the health and prosperity
of families, communities, and societies. Her work has led her to increasingly focus on
peacebuilding and women related issues.
Ms Biare, holds a degree in Fundamental biology; Environmental and health science, she
Co-funded a Student Awareness Club in Morocco (CCE) at her university, aiming to
strengthen the capacities of Moroccan youth, students, women, and marginalized
populations through education, and arts.
She Previously served as the lead manager for programs such as; Tech-Camp for Cultural
Preservation in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Rabat Public Affairs Section, the BE
GREEN applied STEAM program for youth in partnership with Dar America, and the director of USFS program ; Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Morocco pilot program, and a program on Preserving Religious and Cultural Heritage of the
minorities in Morocco with the American Society of Overseas Research (ASOR).
